Several officially licensed phone cards were released in Japan to promote the first game.

Description

Phone cards are prepaid cards that can be used to make calls at public landline phones. At the time Tomba was first released, mobile phone use was not yet widespread and landlines were the primary means of communication.

Phone cards are credit card sized (85.60×53.98 mm) with rounded corners and two rounded indents on one side to guide proper insertion.
